Opening Sequence Screenshots

I have been working more in Maya for the opening pan, and so far it looks great! I am really happy with it! :D hopefully I can get the render soon!

It is starting to come together

Finally, my backgrounds are coming together! Today I worked on one of the opening backgrounds and added a layer using photoshop. This is what my final film is going to look like!

I also created the house exterior for the opening pan (you can see it in the final storyboard). Hopefully by tomorrow I can have the few pans rendered and put in the storyboard animatic to show off.

Inspiration

This short film is one of the inspirations that has helped me in creating my thesis film.

The Beginning of the End

I just started the last semester of my college career at Loyola Marymount and it crunch time for my animation thesis. During my thesis class the professors scared us by saying that we needed at least 10% of rough animation done for next week, meaning I have to start cranking out some work. A majority of my major backgrounds and lighting are finished and I am working on final screenshots to put together into my animatic. I also will be doing some hand drawings and coloring in photoshop to create more depth and layers in the animation, hopefully it wont be too contrasting of styles.

There is so much to do this semester and I hope that I can get it all done!
